Bought mine with 190km and now I have 490 on it and NO problems except for regular wear items. Original tranny, I just keep up on maintenace. you will have years of trouble free driving!
On a different note, does anyone know how to remove the overhead console?
try searching the forums first, but I have removed them from a Super Duty and they are just held there with clips, you just have to pull hard and in the right places, 490k?!?!? thats awesome

One screw in the sunglass holder and pull down on the windshield side of the console first, then it just is held by a clip at the back. Easy...

Thanks! This forum seems to be a great source of info!
Just bought my 108K 2000 7.3 Limited for $18K and had to drop another $4K to replace tires, drive train, shocks, and something that cost about $500 (dont remember the part) on the front end and still consider it a steal. You figure the truck which had a $48K sticker on it if bought new today would easily go for $60K.
I like the looks of your truck (avatar). To each his own on the price in light of all the stuff that you had to do to it.

I believe its a 2000 year model truck with the 04 front conversion. I like the looks of the 04 & 05 front end.
Well I found one. 2002 4x4 limited 7.3 86k on the clock. He said it developed a miss I. The past week and threw a code about an bad injector drive. So he is taking it to a diesel mechanic to get it fixed. Any ideas what this is and is this a common problem.
He is a little crazy asking 23k. I told him that his asking price was 5k over blue book. We still got negotiating to do. He is a clean freak and when something ain't right he wants to fix it now. He is getting it repaired no matter what it costs.

Aint no way to tell without a lot more info.
Does he keep all the paperwork from his maintenance?
I am goin to pick this thing apart when I go look at it. I have been looking for about 2 -3 months and they are normally from 150k to over 200k. I am goin to get some more pics from him and hopefully make a run down to where he is at next weekend and come home with a 7.3 for mama.
