351W C6 swap help

I have a mid 1980's 351W f250 4x4 c6 transmission that needs to be swapped out. My questions is can I use a 1988 c6 transmission from a EFI truck? how hard is the hook up? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I would think the only difference would be what transfer case is bolted to it. Other than that, a C-6 is a C-6, besides the big-block and small-block styles. They were never electronically controlled. Should be an easy swap, but you may want to grab related parts like flexplate and such as there were different depths (as long as it's coming off a 351 also).

c6 swap

according to the vin number from the 88 Engine: 5.8(351cid). I was unsure if the linkage would be hard to attach from the EFI set up to the older 351 carbed engine. Thanks for the info.
