c6 with efi will it work
Did any trucks, broncos come with c6 transmissions from 89 up? I am putting a efi 351 motor in an older truck and was wondering if a c6 would work on a fuel injected motor if so where would it pull the vacumn from? thanks

Lots of those trucks came with C-6 Automatics. Just make sure you are getting a C-6 with the correct bellhousing for that motor. I believe they also came in 4x4 and 4x2 versions. The modulator runs continuously straight off of the intake manifold. I used one in a 1969 Mach One behind a 351W that came out of a van from the late eighties. I am not sure what year they stopped installing them however. LindenBruce

Thansk for the infor on the C6. Boy did they have a long run or what? I know it is the best three speed Ford ever built. I have a short shafter out of a late 60's early 70's truck that I am going to rebuild for my 69 Mach One. The car is a factory 428 CJ car that came with a C6. I got the short shaft version so I can squeeze in a GearVenders overdrive unit on the back end and still fit in the Mustang. Should scream when I get it done. LindenBruce
