I have a 92 ford F150 4X4 with the 302. My battery went dead the other day, so I replaced it. When I replaced it the truck would not start. All it would do is spin and spin. I left it sitting over night and the next morning it fired up. I backed up to my barn and shut it off then tried to restart it and it just spun and spun. I let it sit for about 30 minutes and then tried and it fired right up. I drove it down the road and it ran fine. After driving it I shut it off, and the same thing. I tried to start it again and the motor just spun and spun. Any Ideas????

Bolted on your left front fender by the hood hinge is a small ground wire that goes to the main engine harness. Ck it for corrosion you my need to untape the harness to see if it is..
I have found this a bad on 2 trucks. That might be your problem.
The next time it won't start, check to see if you have spark to the plugs. If not, then it's most likely ignition related, possibly the ignition module. If you do have spark, then it could be fuel related.
