What is the benefit to both of these panels?

I've been in contact with clux about these panels...at first I didn't think I had them, but I later found the passenger side one. It seemed to have been taken off by one of my friends who was helping, so I didn't remember it. But I'm pretty sure the driver's side one isn't there, and I know it isn't on my other Ex's too because I know from taking the lower dash panel off to install my Scangauge that it's open down there to the floor.

I'll have to check the two V10s to see if the passenger panels are there too. One was bought new, so if it had it, it would still be there.

You shipping these parts? Interested in pass fender. Also need a pass door but didn't see it listed.

I'm shipping some of them. You aren't all that far, so it might be easier for you to come pick it up if you can. I'm guessing it would be pretty expensive to ship the fender.

Soon I'm going to have to start having the UPS store package these parts though because I don't have many boxes or packing supplies...

I don't have the door available because it was damaged in the accident (rollover). I completely stripped the doors down though and have all of the window motors, latch mechanisms, cladding, hinges, seals, etc. So if you are able to find a door but you're missing anything (or need cladding for it), I've got it.

The door skin was perfect, no dents or anything, other than the top half being bent. I don't know if you could re-weld the door to use the outer skin

Fender wise, it's in very good shape. The only flaw I see is a very small scrape along the top edge toward the back. It actually lines up with the back point of the hood, and even though it worked fine when I got it, it may have shifted some in the accident and that point went over the fender to scratch it. If could probably be dabbed with a small amount of touch up paint and you'd never notice it. This scrape is only maybe 1/2" long.

If clux decides not to take these or if you find extras, I'm definitely interested in one or both sides!

Thanks,
Drake

I don't know if they put them on the v-10's, their purpose AFAIK is to dampen the noise of the 7.3.

They only factory installed them on the Excursion, the passenger side sometime or some models in 2001, the driver's side late in 2002.

Oh ok. I will continue to look, but I'll bet it didn't have the driver's side. This one was built 3/5/02, so it isn't too late.

From what I've read, that's probably too early to have had the driver's side.

But I appreciate you looking.
