6.0 Ford 350 promblems need help!!!!!
Just Recently my 2003 6.0 Ford f350 started giving me some problems. My temp gauge will drop to cold and my check gauge light will come on. The fan will kick on and then the gauge will go back to normal. The truck is not overheating but the check gauge will continue to come on then go off. I live in Oregon where the temp hasnt been over 40 degrees. The oil and coolant level are good but i cant find the problem. Has anyone had this problem? Can anyone help?

You need a new coolant temp sensor
I assume thats what gauge is going from one extreme to the next
heres a pic of its location ECT sensor
Sorrey couldnt find a part number Im shure they can look it up
