Turbo upgrade question......

Found out today that my turbo is blowing oil, and I have a head gasket leaking. I've already had an egr delete installed as well as a new 4" exhaust and air intake. I'm probably going to go with head studs when I get these repairs done but I don't know what to do about the turbo. I'm not familiar with the aftermarket brands and need some suggestions on what kind of turbo to go with. I know this is going to be expensive, so I would like to get a good turbo upgrade without spending a fortune.

The Powermax is a popular replacement around here.

You can also get an 03 turbo and upgrade the wheel with a batmowheel. Same goes for the powermax.

It sure feels like it. Add some injectors along with a programmer and you have a beast. My 05 is at 493 HP and just shy of 800 ft lbs of torque. But studs are highly recommended when adding the combo of parts.

Thanks guys. Looks like H11 head studs and a powermax is in my near future. Found a pretty good deal on parts and labor at Swamps Diesel here local.

H11 studs are overkill and a waste of money unless they're $400. ARP's will perform quite adequately.

The powermax will SUPPORT an additional 175 RWHP according to Garrett, it doesn't ADD 175 HP just bolting it on. That takes a few more "extras".
