Sorry, but I don't quite understand what you're asking. Are you saying you already have an aftermarket tach and the only signal you can get is from the CPS? The CPS is what reads rmp & engine timing, so that's the place to get the signal from.
If you're looking for a gauge to read rpm's, the Aeroforce scan gauge will read that and much more by simply plugging into the OBDII port.

advice
on this 7.3 it has two wires just in front of fuel pump in cam cover it wont read off this plz note this is a pulling truck it only has enough wires to charge and start everything else is manual gauges i dont have any for flywheel or on crank my tach has red white black and green ford f 350 with 7.3 idi engine

I see. When you said cam sensor, I thought you were referring to the electronic sensor. Go back to the main forum page listing and scroll a little further down. You'll see a 7.3 and 6.9 IDI section. They should be able to help you hook up a tach. Click here to go to that section now.
