I've been posting so many different things on here from hard cold starts, blue spring upgrade problems, block heater issues and list goes on and on. I feel like my brain is being pulled in a million directions!!!
Back in July I had the oil cooler, EGR Delete and head studs done not to mention the upgraded STC fitting on the HPOP. When I got the truck back the mechanic said that he would leave the EGR valve installed and plugged in so I didn't throw any codes. At the time I didn't have a tuner or anything to cancel the codes. Now that I have the tuner I'm sure it has the code for the EGR delete. My question is...... Can I remove the EGR valve and just put the sinister diesel blocking plate on? If so...... what do I do with the electric plug that plugs into the EGR valve??? Do I just leave it dangling there or what??? I know this is a simple thread but at least it will help me feel like I'm making progress with this rig!!!
If you egr cooler is gone it doesn't matter if the egr valve is in or out its original location. But you need it plugged. In so just leave it be, or relocate it
