from there check track bar bushings and mounts, check leaf springs and bushings, check the upper king pin bushings for wear, tie rods ends for wear or bent tie rods, also check the tire pressure, and make sure you have the correct load range tires. too light of a tire(like a load range 'C') will have a lighter side wall and will cause it to be vary squrially due to the sidewall rolling under load

I'm pretty sure you have a bad brake caliper pin. Its the squarish metal pin with tough rubber center. The rubber hardens and the pin wears with time, allowing the brake components to be too loose. The components begin to "chatter" not in a rapid vibrating way, but in an intermittent binding "brakes on"/"brakes off" kind of way. The whole front of the truck begins to wobble as you describe. In my case, it was only the passenger side caliper, and it would start up while making right turns. First it did it at 45-50 mph, then began to get really nasty at 25-30. It would smooth out with applying brakes (even pressure on the offending caliper).

I thought it was the lack of the horizontal stabilizer shock, and I was busy and put off repairing the problem until one day it "HAPPENED". I headed into a long, steady right curve, and the sucker really bound up on me. The whole front end of the truck began crashing up and down. It was extremely violent. It felt like the motor had fallen out and I was driving over it. Like you say, SCARY. To my total amazement, nothing was broken, nothing was out of place, and the truck drove fine. I limped home, jacked up the front wheels, and discovered the passenger side had a "stiff" spot in the wheel rotation. As I rotated it back and forth I could hear the caliper twisting back and forth and going "clunk". I temporarily shimmed the caliper pin with a large, stout, nylon zip tie and drove the truck. Wobble gone.

Check yours and see if this is it... I'm curious!

Thats rather interesting, never heard that a brake caliper pin could cause such a symptom. I don't think I've ever replaced one. I did clean up the groove they ride in and slather it with neverseize.

To bigjoe, take a look back at what we all said in that other thread. If one washer didn't fix it, you can try too. And I guess check your brake caliper pins, and you tires. Easy test for the tires, swap the front ones to the back. If its still happening, swap on another set of tires, if it still happens, tires should be fine. If fixed, get new tires.

well swaped tires from the front to the back,
was thinking about adding an other washer, but it got dark & cold
looking at the leaf springs, they look tired, kind of flat

Here is a link for help in replacing king pins. I would guess this is your issue. The article is very good, I followed it to replace mine. Death wobble is now gone on my truck
