steering stabelizers

steering stabelizers

i have f350 4x4. don't do alot of offroad.
i see alot of trucks with shock type front end stabilizers
are any of you useing them?
do you prefer one brand over an other?
i have had death wobbel issues just replaced , front shocks ,drag linls , rod ends. gotta find local shop that get my crwcab longbed on there lift
ang get it aligned
but was thinging stabilizers

Stabilizers only cover up the problem you're having. How are the bushings on the trac-bar? Bushings in the leaf springs? Are you getting the wobble at higher speeds, or low speed (especially after hitting a bump)?

jsut replaced the track bar bushings.
bushings in leaf ????? i'll check those ,didn't know there were any .
hay 91dirtydiesel can you take some more pictures, that one is kind of shadowed

I would also go over the king pins, bearings, bushings etc. I have the same truck right now with similar issues, and that's where I'm starting.

i never touched a king pin before, i will tackel anything, just wouldn't know how

the brackets , is that a kit ? or is that something you got the parts from a hardwere store?
looks like the one side, u-bolts to drag link, but i can't make out were the sie by the tire is going to

i know i need to do somthing soon,
comming home on turkey day was the ride from hell, at 25 mph , shake rattle & roll
scarry ****, the only way ,to make it go away is to stop,
i know a lot of you guys live in the country, but here in dirty jerzy, you got to go 75 & thats in the school zone,

Shim the kingpin. Basically put another washer under the cap. I did that to mine and it really cut down on the death wobble. It might not be the best fix or the real solution, but it drastically cut down on death wobble (like 99.9% better).
