79F150 front shock questions
I've got a few questions on the front shock setup. I have a 79 F150 Custom 4x4 with a 351M & C6.
I am building this truck as a trail rig and bought superflex 4" lift coils to get the most flex possible, now to take advantage of these coil springs, will basic shocks made for 4" of lift work, such as: Rancho RS5115? My concern is while this shock is made for 4" of lift, it will greatly limit my flex, or bottom out before I hit the bumpstops. Will I need specialty shocks like these?
Next question, all the websites for shocks have one for the front of the axle and one for behind, my front axle only has shocks to the rear of the front axle, do I just order the ones for rear of the front axle?
