turbo problems!!!
hey i think my turbo charger is starting to go, the truck has lost a lot of power and at 2500 to 2900 rpm there is a high pitch metal on metal screaming sound.
had a friend who owns a diesel shop do my glow plugs and when he did it he did a compresion sheck and all was good.
is there a way to rebuild the garrett t4 that is on the truck from the factory or do i have to drop 1400 to 2000 for a new turbo charger?

Have you pulled the intake to look at the wheel for play? It can be rebuilt, you can buy a kit, or you can send it in or buy one already rebuilt from Rons turbos (I think that is the place..) for a lot less money

this is gonna be fun though.
what kind of a greasy mother ****** lays off his hole work force right before xmass. im still in shock about that ****. gotta fix the truck though< looks like its going to be home soon.
