Plug and play 200 remote start problem

I installed the 200 series plug and play remote start/security on my F350. The dealer activated it in 5 minutes at no charge. It works great except the alarm portion. The LED does not light and the shock sensor doesn't do anything. I have it mounted securely and I whacked the area it's mounted to and nada!

Any ideas?

OK... The dealer activated the remote start portion, but did you activate the security system portion?

1. Cycle the ignition from OFF to ON.
2. Wait 10 seconds.
3. Press and hold the Program Override Button for 3 seconds. The LED will turn on for 5 seconds. The parking lights will flash and the horn will honk once to confirm Vehicle Security System activation.
4. Turn OFF ignition.

I did that. Now that you told me. I didn't have instructions and the dealer had never seen this unit before.

Thanks for the help it is much appreciated. One more question. All of the harnesses plugged into something. There is one blue wire that is just a cut end. Any idea what this is for?
