Leveling kit

Hey guys, I would like to put a leveling kit in the front of my 99 f350 dually cc diesel. I have seen many kits and ways of doing this. What is the best way of leveling the front end on my truck. What kit and way. Thanks for the help.

I just added the one leaf that levels the front. Cheap and easy. Haven't had any problems "yet"! My .02

Where did you get them from? I have seen shackle leveling kits, add a leafs, etc. just wondering what the best way to do this.
Thank you

Ball joint adjustment. What are you talking about. We don't have adjustment on our ball joints. Must be a joke?

It is only needed on 2 wheel drive trucks, 4 wheel drives have different suspension. On 2 wheel drive trucks you add a spacer under the coil spring to level it. That changes the camber and it needs to be adjusted

Oh ok. Didn't know what he was talking about. I have a 4x4.

I just put a 2 inch shackle kit on my truck. Still rides the same, but if I did it again I would just get the 3 inch icon shackle kit from Riff-Raff.

So I'm assuming it's 4x4 then? There are pluses and minus to each option. Add a leaf-very easy and in expensive. Eventually will sag and tend to be rougher.
Replacement spring pack- more money with a better ride.
Drop bracket is about the same price as new springs and maintains the original ride. Advantage is your not wasting money if you ever want to go bigger. Downfall is I haven't seen one any lower than a 3 1/2" so you would actually be a lil high and need a new trac bar or relocating brackets. I just went with cheap and easy!

On a side note weather it be 2x4 or 4x4, anytime "I" do any modifications to the front end of a truck going up with it or down with it or even just as much as changing wear parts, I always have it checked and adjusted for a good drive! this is key!

Cool, thanks for the info. I was looking at longer shackle kits and was kinda liking that way of leveling it. I seen the mini leaf pack and to me that looks like more or less a block your putting onto of the front axle which I always heard is not good to do on the front axle.

I have the longer shackles on mine. They can be had for almost half the price of the add-a-leafs.
Here they are. F250 1999-2007 Ford SD 1.5 inch Front Lift Shackles | Jack-It, The Suspension Experts

This is what I was referring to. Wasn't aware of just the shackle kit. How is it working for you?

The shackles are working great for me. Those Fabtech spring mounts are spendy.
