i also doubt the CNG was factory, since he claims it has a 460 in it. but it was built with a 351.

Of course, the term "factory conversion" is a contradiction within itself. If it came from the factory that way, it wouldn't be a conversion.

I emailed the seller asking for more detailed information, better underside pix, etc...let's see if he responds.

Ford did make some trucks designed to run on CNG, but this ain't one of 'em. VIN shows 460 gas 4x4.
Why somebody would build a pickup with front drive only is beyond me. I've driven mine with the rear driveshaft removed, and with just the front axle pulling, it drives really strangely.

well if I had a truck like that I would really want it RWD I mean thats the entire point of these trucks, RWD to put the power where the most weight is located when towing any thing...and in the snow I would have to have 4x4 incase the 2wd got stuck...and I have driven FWD trucks before (hondas and nissans) and they arn't the best IMO...least I think they were FWD, cant remember...

Sorry, but this info is incorrect. FORD's info shows it to be a 460.
(8th digit "G" is always a 460 for these trucks)

Government Use Vehicle Use and EventCheck The vehicle was used by a government agency.

interesting.

she had a hard time passing CA's emissions holy crap lmao.
check the records.she couldn't be driven on the street.which explains the low miles.

it's weird and pointless.but then again that's the Government for ya.

still, you know its a decent low mile truck anyway.likely worth the 6k.a feller just needs to set it back up right which wouldn't take much.
pull the axles, place one back where it belongs, put the correct stock length rear drive shaft in,and then set a replacement bed back on,or heck that one is likely so rust free from never being driven, could be worth patching back up.after all it is a NOS '92 9th gen truck, once you look past the oddness.

Somebody up here was selling something similar recently but said only the front set of tandems was driven, the rear tandems were just rollers. Dunno.

There was a dodge around here like that. It was stupid had to have it in 4x4 on in even ground or the back queens would hang up an the drive wheels would just spin in any dips

I used to work across from what Ford calls KTP (Kentucky Truck Plant) where they build the F250 and up trucks.
On the road around the plant are more than a few modifiers. And I saw some really crazy trucks on trailers that they had built for customers. I would never say that truck was a factory conversion but a factory authorized modifier before dealer delivery is not out of the question.
