New Windows?

I went and bought new windows for both doors and the drivers side vent window. My question is, what has everyone used to hold in their new windows in the window lift channel? When removing the old window the old rubber/plastic type gasket came out in pieces it was so brittle. The vent window was broken when I got the truck so it was all torn up and not salvageable as well. I was wondering if I could use some window adhesive silicon? Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks

Well I guess I totally spaced out the channel rubber in the LMC catalog today, but nothing for the vent window. Looks like I'll be heading back to LMC tomorrow....

I hope your new windows were from an 80-86 because you're gonna have problems if you got them from an 87-96. You can use the 87-96 windows, however you have to swap the vent windows as well.

Yes they are the correct windows for 80-86.
