Idle speed is 100% computer controlled and is not adjustable, there is a stop screw on the throttle body yea however it is factory set and never needs further adjustment.
Should be sealed/locked in place, if its been tampered with yea you'll probably need some help resetting it to its proper set.
If it is locked/sealed in place and has never been tampered with, please do not mess with it it is not an idle adjustment screw.
It's set to allow butterfly plates to fully close but without digging into the throttle body.
I can see that the screw has been adjusted by examining the thread locker on the screw. What are the steps for properly adjusting it?
I found a broken vacuum line and a cracked vacuum cap. After fixing those the only code left was the throttle position sensor. I looked at the adjustment screw and noticed it was screwed in. With the engine running I slowly screwed it back out and the engine almost stalled and came back to life. I ran the tests again and I have no codes!
