Well Iv got the front in, 2 off us done it. In about 7 hours, We had to go back and forth to get new parts, My calipers were different, So had to buy them, Had to buy the metal piece on the bottom of the axle on the drivers side, Need new drag links for the str8 axle. My drive shaft is a slip yoke, Will my front axle work on the dana 60.
Ok ran into another problem, The steering for the twin I-beam has the arm that go to both tires, the str8 needs the arm that goes the passenger tire, then the long one to the driver side, So how did yall over come this?

Yep, I started with new steering links for the Dana 60...
I got a lot of my parts from my '87 F350 parts truck. I thought everything through and had all the parts ready to go ahead of time. The only thing I had to buy after the axle was in to complete the swap was new brake hoses.
You talking about the flex lines? When I did mine, I put in a dana 60 from a 91 into my 96 and the end that connected to th caliper was different. The 91 is a king pin. I was able to grind the end to make it work, but bought new lines later. Definitely get new copper crush washers though to go between the flex line and caliper connection.
Yea I got new calipers, So I should be able to unbolt my old calipers and use the same screw in the news ones right? Plus still looking for all the steering components
