56 gas tank
Good morning folks, new guy Garry here. I'm presently resto-rodding my 56. IFS , 9' Ford rear, 1990 5.0 w/ AOD, stock body, etc. My question is regarding a fuel tank. I want to mount the tank under the b
ed back by the rear. Does anyone have any knowledge or suggestion on what tank I could salvage at the local auto salvage yard. I definetly want one with an internal fuel pump. Thanks for any help you might forward.

Welcome to FTE. We love pictures here, be sure to post some of your truck.
It seems that most folk tend to go with a Mustang tank. Here is an article on installing one.

that's my article on the tank install... but lots of guys here have done it... there are also other tanks that can be used
