Holley truck avenger fuel pooring out
I just did a rebuild on my holly truck avenger 670 and now i cant get the floats to work. No matter what i have tried it starts poring fuel out the top breather tubes. I have pulled out the new needle valves for the floats and put in the old ones and it still over fuels. Tried changing around the floats thinking maybe that one was meant for the front and one for the back. Tried backing it out thinking maybe they where to far in and fuel was getting around them that way but no. Checked fuel pressure and its at 6psi. Checked for stuff on the float valves and they where clean. Is there a gasket that needs to go into the float valve assembly? Right now its just brass pressing up against brass to keep the fuel from flowing in.

Yeah turns out rebuilding a carb for the first time while sick isnt a good idea. I put the damn niddle inside the valve upside down. Bone head move, but you live and learn. (at least i hope this is the only issue i have, i called the holley guys to find out how to put the valve together. I will find out when i get home from work.)
hope this post will help some other ******* down the line so they dont have to post.
