chassis number?

hello, I am new to this forum. could anyone tell me where to find the chassis number on a 2003 F 350 4x4 please? cheers!

I'm not sure what a chassis number is. If you can be specific and post me your VIN i'll get you the info you are looking for.

Welcome to the forum...

Try the top side of the passenger frame rail somewhere between the front passenger seat area to the backside of the front tire. You might find a small mirror handy...

Chassis number is the same as the VIN or a partial VIN. Most manufacturers will mark vehicles with the VIN or a partial VIN in additional spots beyond the ones we normally see. In the US they are considered hidden VIN's and are used primarily for LEO purposes. In many other countries it is a requirement of vehicle registration to visually inspect the chassis number.
