Lincoln Question

well it's a Towncar with a 4.6 sohc
i'm usually down in the y block forum. here goes
is the Haynes manual pretty good?
how about the $80 innova code scanner from walmart?

Haynes is good if there is absolutely nothing else available. It's not even good for use if you're out in the woods and have no A.W. Go to ebay and buy a real factory manual.

Haynes is good for starting campfires. Same for Chilton's. The code scanner will probably be fine if your car is a '95 or older.
