11 means sytem is ok.
34=EVP voltage is above closed limit.
Haynes, or Chilton manuals are under $20. Hard to work on your truck without one or both. All the emmisions and sensor locations are explained. Well worth the money.

I have a chilton's that's over an inch thick, but is just for E 150. I recommend the Chilton's but other guys like the Hayne's better. The closer in year and model that YOU have is a good one to buy. The Chilton I have is for 89 to 96 Ford vans. It covers most codes and repairs in good detail. Not as good as a shop manual, but has enough info to pay for itself. I have the Haynes too. Between the both, most thing's are covered. Like you say "good to have both"

I agree. If you plan on doing your own work, get both manuals. I only have the Haynes on mine right now but I want to get the other one. One another vehicle I have I've got both the factory shop manual and a Klymer manual. It's very useful to compare the two. (okay, so my "other vehicle" is a Goldwing.)
