I can't find anything describing what it means. If you look at the screen, right by the Route 625 sign, you see a little flag with an "S."

The first time I saw this, I was at Watkins Glen Raceway and at first I thought it meant the Start/Finish line, but when I actually drove to the S, it was the Sunoco gas station in the paddock.

I noticed it again last night and there is definitely not a racetrack in the neighborhood, so no Start/Finish line.

Hmm, not sure. What if you drive to this "S", wonder what you might find. I let my, not so SIRRIUS expire a long time ago, so I don't recall all the landmark features and the favorites.

Page 115 of the navigation guide, second edition, it looks like the starting point of a destination setting.

Wow, thanks for posting that. I swear, I read all of the documentation the night I brought my truck home and I have zero recollection of that section.

Strange though as I have never set any routes to start there either. Hmmm.

Your welcome. I too read all the material when I got my truck, but I forgot most of it already, there is too much to remember. I am always referring back to owner.ford.com to look things up in the electronic manuals.

Off topic a bit, but the little triangle that shows where the truck is on the map has a circle/ring around it.

My ring is always flashing? Why?

Flashing Circle makes it easier to spot. Take your eyes off the road for fewer seconds.

It seems that I am always playing with something and set some setting that I dont know and then have search the manual to straiten it out. Ive never had to read a manual before except for oil specs and changing the clock for dalight savings time

Since the point of the S flag is in front instead of behind him IMO its not the starting point. Mabey its a POI.

Sorry to continue to Hijack this thread.

Is there a way to make the circle not flash? It's pretty annoying if you ask me.

Andrew, I have no idea.

I don't leave mine on the navigation screen that often.

Clear your recent routes and the 'S' should go away.

You may have accidentally started a route from that position.
