rear end binds
I have a 2000 f150 4 wheel drive with a limited slip 3.55 gear rear end. when I back up and turn in two wheel drive no problem , in 4 hi as you turn it needs more rpms to move and on gravel after a short distance the rear end acts like it is locked up until you pull back forward then it's fine. had all new bearings and ring and pinion installed in may ??? any thoughts

It may be alright. That just shows your LS unit and 4 x 4 are working. Mine does a similar thing when in 4 x 4 forward . in 2 x 4 everything is o.k. When i shift to 4 x 4 in the driveway, and turn the wheel, its like herding elephants down a path. Dont want to turn at all unless you are in the grass or loose dirt. You got at least 3 of the 4 tires trying to go different speeds and that causes the binding. Try it in the grass.
