LED Question...
Wanted to do alittle project and see if i can take my taillights apart and put in those square led pads...
so my question is if i buy white leds for my brake lights will they light up white threw the red housing or be red?

It will be red. With LED you should shine red thru red, amber through amber.since it is the same wavelength light, no intensity loss. White works too.
The Whelen LINZ6 and the TIR3 fit in the blank. Be sure to seal with sensor-safe silicone and heat shrink the wires.

My truck is under going heavy light mods. also Blacked out the bumpers grill and rims. I just installed some new 2in1 HALO PROJECTOR LED Head Lights;
Since I put the headlight in I have to redo my plug strobes but I'll do that when I get the rest of the strobes. Waiting on x2 6x9 amber and white strobes and compleate led for the running board, interior and plate lights.
