Regear the truck to at least 4.56s, add a tuner with a custom tune and go from there. Still not enough power? Get your hands on a used intercooled supercharger setup off a lightning and get the truck tuned for it. Running 4 or 5 lbs of boost will give you a very noticeable increase in power and not stress the stock bottom end too much. Or pick up a good used PI 6.8l with harness and pcm and put it in your truck. Swapping a 5.9l into your current truck will be a lot more work than you think.

Thanks for the info. I was wondering about the stress on the bottom end, just don't overdo it with the boost. I don't really like the 6.8l that much, just a personal preferance.
