P01249-Waste gate Problems?
Okay so I was messing around with my tuner today and I figured I would see if there were any DTCs while I was at it. For some reason P01249 showed up, which is a waste gate malfunction code. The truck has been running fine and I haven't noticed any changes in the way it runs. Has anyone dealt with this code before? What could be causing it? The truck only has 49,000 miles on it, although it is 8 years old. Any ideas?

P1249 is an overboost code which typically sets due your Tuner. This will take care of that code. Riffraff Diesel: OCR - Overboost Code Regulator
