Does anyone have a good diagram of the front axle assembly? I have tried searching and haven't come up with anything.

These are the base numbers (center numbers, i.e, F8TZ-xxxx-AA) for each part. My manual doesn't break down the locking hub components, or show the number for the complete assembly.

I don't know when you made this post but if you're looking for diagrams for a 1999 Ford Ranger I have every single one except for electrical that was a different workshop manual. I bought the 1999 ford workshop manual. This covers every 1999 model from 2.5 to 4.0, 2wd &4wd man or automatic both 4&5R. Both rear differentials as well. Its been a godsend altho theres book 1, 2, & 3 all are the size of a Chinese phone book too. Plus has all the technical data in it like factory preloads. Every pinpoint test. Most info can be applied for a timeframe like 1998 to 2001. I got it on ebay you should go and do your year search. I bought it for the same exact reason that you have up one here I was looking for good diagrams for parts because I knew I was missing some

 

I'm sure he's found what he needs as he asked in 2011.
I also imagine he was looking for a dana50/60 being in the 99-03 powerstroke section

 

But hey if anyone else happens along that may need Ranger info now they got a lead right? Never hurts to have a "Guy".
