Had to go out and look at mine again, but if you look close you can see the middle hole in the rust. Has all 3.
Maybe that was a later design to help prevent rust. Apparently it didn't work to well, but hey atleast there was some thought to it.

I never could find one from the Memphis plant and settled for one made in another location. This means from now on every time I see your truck I'll just wonder if if I had a family member help build it. I also had a few uncles which also worked there.

That is VERY COOL. Do you have any old pictures of them working at the factory?

I wish I did have a few but I don't. One of my side passions is genealogy, when I get my truck on the road I plan to use it doing trips for my genealogy research. I think it'll be a great mode of transportation.

Kind of strange that my truck, which spent a lot of time in Colorado, came out of Memphis instead of Dallas or the west coast plants.
