Question ref power disconnect
The last time I had the truck in for service they had to disconnect the battery. When I brought the truck home there was a noticeable performance issue and transmission issue. I was advised it lost programing and they had to re-flash it, or update it, which totally fixed the problem. I recently had a Fosgate amp and speakers installed, they disconnected the battery for several hours, I am noticing slight performance issues, I may be paranoid and it may just be the colder weather and fuel. Is there a way to check this without taking the truck back to the dealer?, will it lose programing each time power is disconnected?========

The TCM will relearn your driving style if it's lost but it will take awhile.
I think the general rule is to give it 3,000 miles but maybe I came up with that number myself.
I've had my truck looked at enough related to my shift skip and that's the mileage I've been using to allow relearn.
