Can I still order from parts guy ed?

Read a few posts saying he is not around anymore. The site is still up and i need to order a bunch of stuff because I cant afford the local dealer prices which are way more than double parts guy ed's prices on nearly everything.

Is there a plan B? any good Ford Dealers to order stuff for a good price?

I bought from them about 6 months ago which is long after Ed has been away. If you are logged into your account you could always send them a message to confirm. The last time I needed parts I sent a message and they responded within a few hours. I use will call as it is just about 10 minutes away from where I work.

If Ed and his site are down, you can always do Tasca and Tousley.

I've ordered from both and their prices were within a $1 or $2 of Ed's

fast shipping and service as well

I ordered from parts guy ed.com. They took several weeks to ship my order and the license plate light I ordered came in silver instead of black. Probably won't order from them again... btw (this is an edit) this was after ed left. I don't have anything against ed, I've never dealt with him.

Ed no longer works at Horizon Ford and I just checked, it looks like his PartGuyEd website is down now too.

Tousley Ford has been my go-to place when I need something that our forum sponsor, Clay at Riffraff Diesel Performance, doesn't carry.

Just tried it...PARTSGUYED.COM is working for me. Ed owns the domain name, is allowing Horizon Ford to use it.

The header on the site is now: HORIZON FORD with PartsGuyEd below it.

Typing the url, it doesn't come out correctly once it posted.

http://www.trademotion.com/partsloca...?siteid=214072

Should read: partslocator/index.cfm? and etc

Since I can access the site, P/M me the part numbers, I'll pass along the MSRP & "Ed's" discount prices.

No part numbers? I can look 'em up as long as it's before 2002.

Ed advised that since he was no longer working there or associated with them he would like to link partsguyed.com to our website.

If you need OEM parts we can special order them for you if they aren't for a diesel.

Ed will be be sorely missed in these circles thats for sure

Yep, that's why it surprised me that it was down last night. It's working for me now again, with a redirect to Clay's Riffraff site.

Typing the url, it doesn't come out correctly once it posted.
Yea, I typed PartsGuyEd.com into the address bar. The redirect musta just been glitchy last night.

Thanks for that my friend, reps sent. I've already told some people to seek you out via PM's to see if you could help them with part numbers.

Yes, he will.

EDIT: Ok, I tried to rep, but I'm in rep jail.

Ed's site was able to match part prices, but the shipping is better from Tousley (truck freight for V code springs).
