No problem, just trying to help. Don't see how some guy can take information he didn't write, put it on a .25c Disk then sell it for $40. The info on the disk is substantial though, lots of stuff. Take care

To make a copy of an electronic document, and distribute it, without permission of the copyright holder is piracy. You, the recipient and FTE can be found liable.

A portion of the document, presented as "fair use", may be an exception.

To give your document away is usually, but not always, legal.

The feds are pissy about this sort of thing...think RIAA

I Didn't join this board to get people's feathers ruffled or get indicted in Federal Court

. I found this board and liked the info available on it, heck i even payed to be a supporter of this board. I did join to share my process of fixin up a 30+ year old Ford truck and get some questions answered. The Feds can go on EBay and find plenty of people selling copies of serivce manuals for $30-$40, are they the owner or have permission from FoMoCo to sell them? I don't know and I really don't care. For the record I gave two copies away, I even paid for the shipping, one of them twice (USPS broke the first one). Just trying to help a fellow Ford Man out, I apologize, won't happen here publicly again

. Sorry if i ruffled someones feathers or cut someone out of a royalty check on a 35 yr old service manual. Anyways thanks for the legal lesson, I've got sanding to do

Famousamos I don't see this a big thing and doubt anything would ever come of it. Like you say it is done all the time. My intention wasn't to stir anything up but rather to just make everyone more aware. But yes keeping it to emails or PM's would be better for FTE and everyone.
