I have a 2003 F-250 4x4 the automatic switch to go from 2 hi to 4 hi 4lo is not working,the numbers on the dashboard show the switch but it dosn't do anything mechanical. You can lock the hubs manually to get to 4wd but noy automatically. Another funky thing about all of this is you push the on button upper left and the coast button lower right and the horn honks

Sounds like a classic loss of vacuum tot he system. Someone smarter than me will be by shortly to help with trouyble shooting. Or if you'd like, you can do a search and see what you can see.

I would say you have two seperate issues the 4wd issue is most likely the automatic hubs have stopped working or they lost vacume , and the horn issue is something inside the steerig wheel.
