Location of Serial Number on Pre-'47 1 Ton Truck
My father and I have been trying to locate the serial number for his old truck so we can get more information on it, however we're having the slight issue of locating it.
Attached is a picture of the truck, maybe someone can tell me where I can find the serial number, and even literature regarding it.
Thanks in advance,
Kyle M.

I looked under the hood at the firewall but was unable to locate any identification plates. She's seen better days (the interior is quite messy). I've been reading around that it was suppose to be on three parts of the frame and in the glove box, however I cannot locate it there either... It's like it came with no serial numbers.

Hi, on my 1 1/2 ton the truck serial (21T.....) is stamped into the firewall directly under the generator regulator location.
The engine serial is stamped into the top of the transmission bellhousing between the two top bellhousing bolts, not on the engine.
There are more numbers stamped into the chassis top flange between the steering box and engine mount locations.
Good luck, Steve.
