30,000 mile service- radiator flush?
I just scheduled my 30,000 mile service for tomorrow and I saw that it includes a radiator flush, among other items. Is this true? It seems a little early to me for a flush. I can see checking level and quality, but a flush after only 30,000 miles and 2 years? I usually go 5 years in between cooling system flushes, even with my older truck, which has aluminum heads like my 2010. Anyone else think this is overkill?
That is what I figured... I guess I could have looked at my Owner's Manual... Duh! This is the same dealer that tried to get me to have them replace the fuel filter in the same truck... Per the manual, I have a lifetime filter.
I think I'll just do an oil change, new air filter and check all other fluids, etc. We are taking a trip in a few days so I just want to make sure everything it tip top for the best mileage and performance.
