Optional electronic locking rear axle

I'm getting ready to order a new Lariat 4X4 - my current 2004 truck has a limited slip rear axle which was an option at that time and I wondered if the new truck now comes standard with the limitied slip or do I need to order the electronic unit - seems to me that if you have 4 wheel drive, why would you need locking 2-wheel drive?. I do not take it off-road but the limited slip provides stability in street driving on rain or light snow.
Thanks
2004 Lariat S-Cab

Limited Slip I believe is standard in the newer models but you would be better off asking in the 2011 forum.
