My 1980 had a limited slip in the front too. I tell you one thing though, it made for some weird handling in the snow. I could steer the rear of the truck with the steering wheel. The front would stay planted, and the back end would go back and forth when I moved the steering wheel. It also would not turn in the snow unless you almost came to a complete stop.
I have a limited slip front axl in mine. and the code is H92 on the door jam.
Shoot, i'm sorry. i reread my post from last night and don't know what I was thinking. I must've had super cab on my mind since that's X prefix in the GVW code.
Anyway here's how it breaks down:
a suffix of "2" is front LS.
so 19 is open, H9 is LS rear, 192 is open rear LS front (if that was even available?) and H92 is LS front and rear.
