I got the ones I needed off the back of a older Kenmore slide in stove at an appliance repair shop while picking up a used part for my stove , they were just pushed in 3 on each side holding the flat rear sheet metal in place . Goes to show you that Ford DOES outsource their hardware just like everyone else and you can stumble across things at anytime if you keep your eyes open . Just because it was used in a Ford vehicle doesn't mean it was not used somewhere else in another industry

Hello, Does anyone know what the quarter size hole is for on my 66' F-100? The hole is above ignition key. I thought the push rubber start button was once there, it's under dash now?

No such thing as a starter button on any truck after 1955.

The hole is for this: 2C-11500-A .. Windshield Washer Push Button Switch (Motorcraft SW-287) / Obsolete

1965 F100/250 / 1966 F100/250 with single speed wipers / 1966 F100/250 with 2 speed wipers before serial number 760,001 / 1966 Econoline.

And...used as the starter button on all 1952/55 trucks.
