Installing Factory Fog Lights (wiring)
I was in a fender bender were I lost my Grille, Header Panel, bumper, Pass. Turn lens, Pass. Fender, and bent Bumper, Purshased all the parts plus more for $150 used from a 2000 F150.
The bumper from the 00' has fogs and my truck has the wires behind the bumper.
Purchased a Headlight switch w/fogs w/o auto for $10 from a local junk yard.
Went to install the switch and realized I was missing a plug. Did some research and here is the fix.
First find the fuse in the interior fuse panel and run a wire from there to the switch hole.
Second find the relay under the hood. mine was in the smaller relay panel. The relay closest to the fender and the front(of truck). Then run 2 wires from the relay to the switch.
wire #1 connect to the front(of truck) tab where there is 3 tabs. Connect the other end to the wire from the fuse panel(wire above), then attach an end to plug into the single plug(flat toward the steering wheel should only have one tab to plug into).
Wire #2 Connect it to the relay on the other side of the 3 tabs(torward the firewall) Connect the other side into the ONLY empty hole in the other plugs. After those 3 wires your factory fog light harness should work.

I guess I was lucky. When I added the factory fogs to my 2003 the wires were behind the front bumper area like yours.
I installed the headlight/fog switch in the dashboard and everything worked with no other wires having to be run. Didn't have to add any fuses or relays either.
Really was a plug and play type mod.
