So tonight I was changing out the fuel bowl housing on my truck(old one had hair line crack in it) and I was almost finished and I broke the fpr threads clean off! So now my truck is stranded at the garage until I can get a new one. I was looking at the billet one on the diesel orings site and it looks good, I was wondering if I should go back to the stock one or upgrade? I like the idea of going with the billet one because you can adjust the fuel pressure plus it looks stronger and better made than the fragile oem one.... plus who doesnt like upgrades!
I would definitely go for the billet one from Diesel O-rings.com or if you are looking for a good time to install a regulated fuel return, look at Riffraff Diesels FRx. Either way it will be much better than the stock one.
thats what I am thinking! I wonder how long it would take to get here if I ordered it tomorrow, I know the order wouldnt go in till monday. How hard would it be to do a RR and how expensive?
Clay ships out stuff pretty quick. I'm sure you could also pay for it to be quicker too. This time of year stuff moves pretty quick and the box doesn't weigh much. Click on the link I put in the other post, that will take you right to it.
I think it is well worth it, especially if you consider the other kits. This kit is made for the average guy who wants to improve the fuel systems deficiencies without dropping a ton of cash.
