My hood insulation was all torn and half missing. So I removed that itchy crap and threw up some of that frost king heating insulation stuff. The back side is adhesive. This is the same stuff a lot of us are using for inside the cabs to cut down on noise. I'm hoping this will work as hood insulation. Hopefully it will work.
Ive used this stuff in the cab for sound deadening. Ive also used it for heat insulation from my exhaust and the turbo and it really does cut down on it.
There is a thread a while back on this same thing, just was never no mention of using it under the hood.
Mine is falling off too. I wonder how good the LMC insulation is?
I would look at the bronco graveyard first myself.
Tried to order the remote lock kit for like $65 or so for xmas, as my locks were freezing, and I wanted to save them some wear over the winter. They wanted $75 for shipping, plus duty for importing it to canada. I laughed at them over the phone and told them to go screw themselves and canceled the order.
