Radiator overflow tank
They were not installed nor needed for these old trucks. There is aprox. 4.5 gallons of coolant in a FE engine truck, with a huge frontal opening. Leave it down 2-3" in the radiator and that is all the expansion needed.

Yup, just a rubber line running over the side of the radiator to get the fluid down out of the way. No tank.
If you feel the need to have a recovery tank, you'll just have to run the rubber line to it.

DOAZ-8522-A .. Coolant Recovery Tank / Available at the parts counter or as a dealer installed accessory.
When Ford introduced this tank in 1970, we noticed it was the exact same "fitz-all" sold by autoparts stores, because that's what we had been installing for customers that wanted one.
1965/79: The only factory installed coolant recovery tank (D1TZ-8A080-A) was used in 1971/74: F100/250 240 I-6 2WD w/a M/T & Econoline 240 I-6 w/a M/T.
