'95 ZF 5speed compatable with '97?

Ran across a fellow parting out a '95 F250 PSD 4wd with a 5 speed in it. I've got a '97 F350 PSD 4wd with an automatic, will this 5 speed jive with my truck? Any differences in the ZF's from '95 to '97?

Thanks.

Get the whole truck from him.
You will need about everything to do the swap.
Not a bad job if you have a donor.

Either that or PM me for the parts you need. I have a local guy that supposedly just wants the transmission so I may potentially have everything else available. I don't know where you're at in VA, but I can ship things pretty inexpensively and without the trans, the remaining pieces aren't all that cumbersome to ship. Just another option. No pressure to buy, since I am tempted to just keep the goodies for myself just in case...

Have you done transmission work before? Are you fairly well experienced in the mechanical field? If you answered "Yes", then the swap will be no problem for you. If you answered "No", then it will be quite a bit more work figuring out how things go together and how to get things done. Having the donor to look at will help, though.

DIY - sent you a PM.

BH - I'm a farmer with a town job as a mechanic, plus there's '96 and '97 F350 PSD's that we use on my farm sitting in my driveway - both with 5 speeds. No worries.

Thanks to all for the replies, I appreciate the help.
