Need a little help
I got a fuel pump for a 351 windsor. But when i pulled the one off my motor they weren't the same. This is the one i pulled off my truck. The new one i bought mounts on the motor side to side, instead of above and below.(Hopefully that makes sense) Does anyone know what motor i could have by looking at these pictures of my fuel pump??

That fuel pump is for a 351M/400. It's the only Ford block that has a fuel pump with vertical mounting bolts. The parts house gave you a fuel pump with horizontal mounting bolts because that's what 351 Windsors have. But you don't have a 351 Windsor. You have either a 351M or a 400.

Just count the valve cover bolts. The number of bolts will tell you what engine family. Looks like a 351M/400. No 351W in any of these trucks.
