The Flux Capacitor mod works better than electrolysis, and the Doc proved it several times. The first proto produced 1.21Gigawatts of power. That equates to about 1.7million HP at the flyweel.

You'll need plutonium, a lightning bolt or Mr Fusion to get that kind of power as well as the Flux capacitor.
