since im planning to use the mustang tank in my 54 i was wondering where you got the patch panel that covers the hole where the filler neck came thru the cab corner or did you you form it yourself ? i was just wondering since it seems a lot of us are going that way for a tank thanks for any info
I just bought one from Mid-Fifty. I haven't received it yet, but they tell me that it has crisper corners than other vendors and is tall enough to cover the fuel filler.
thanks for all the info i guess i should have looked in my catalog before i asked ive already purchased from mid fifty a drivers cowl patch panel and im pretty happy with it and sorry about the mr john i was born in the south also and thats the way my dad raised me i do have a idea for you how about putting a stock ford front end out of about a 68-69 donor car for your next front end swap! see my gallery for details
Yah, I wondered who the h*ll he was talking about myself!
Hey, cousin! Ya know what really hurts? You're standing at a checkout counter having impure thoughts about the foxy young cashier and then when you get up to her, she says "good morning SIR!". Remember when we used to be able to pick them up?
The only thing I hate more than growing old - is - the alternative.
One more vote for Mid-Fifty cab corners. I have purchased other panels from them I was not thrilled with, but I thought their cab corners were very good.
As far as the Mister Niolon stuff is concerned, I clearly remember trying to get the "Be nice to John" amendment removed from our constitution. RMF was deaf to my plea, so I guess we just deal with it from here?
I do hope I didn't anger you in any way by saying that Mr. Niolon
All this formality isn't necessary... we go back to far... you don't has to call me Mista' !!! Youse can call me Ray... or you can call me "J" or youse can call me johnny (you best not call me honey) but youse don't has to call me Mista
see cuz... get e-lected ROTW and you get all hoity-toity
and Dewayne... you don't have to treat me differently... just treat me like all the others that are better than you
see what you started gee ohh... you've just really put a crimp in my humility...
The only thing worse than having her say good morning sir is asking if you'd like the senior citizen discount. or having them ask if they could carry your tray to the table.
we alway were taught to treat our elders and betters with respect and the title sir..Mr. Fergy, Mr Fenders, Mr Rage et al. And Sir Mr. Niolon SIR
Oldtimer? Bah. I doubt your a senior citizen. You are probally in your late 30's to early 40's. You need a few more articles (or inches) under your belt before your an oldtimer.
