Normally in the 86-97 Forum, but am now over here too now with my latest purchase. 2004 Excursion Eddie Bauer, 4x4, 6.0 all the options but sunroof. Totally stock with 185k on the clock. Only issues I have seen are the parking sensor wont turn off/on and the overhead display comes and goes. Other than that looking for suggestions as to things to keep her up and going for a good long time into the future.
This is what she joins in the stable... 1994 F350, Built 460 (trick flow heads, holley 870, Weiand Intake, Comp Xtreme 4x4 Cam, all ARP fastners, 10.5:1CR), E4OD, Eleanor paint scheme, sitting on 315 Pro-Comps.
The one ('02 model, IIRC) I looked at a couple years ago had a sunroof in it, but keep in mind it was also a Florida truck, so it very well may have been aftermarket, as they put sunroofs in EVERYTHING down there. If so, whoever did it, did a real nice job on the install as it looked identical to the sunroof in my Expedition.
As for the '94, I havent hit the track with it, but when I had the same drivetrain in a '90 ext cab F250, I did the speed pit at the mid drags for a year and a half, IF I could keep from blowing the tires off at the starting line it would bring the trophy home about every time. Only problem was I needed a more aggressive tire, but was using a street mud terrain. Even then, I was running 4's flat. Eventually the cancer got the '90, I found the '94, and so I combined the two to make the one above. I might eventually run it to see what it does, but would need to get back into it and reset the trans controller shift points, play with the timing/fuel ratio for better fuel and tweak it back into race mode, rather than daily driver.

Yeah, it was aftermarket. Either private party or dealer install. No Excursion came from the factory with a sunroof.

Nope, I meant 4's... this was in a speed pit with a nice slick mud base... think trying to race stoplight to stoplight on a ice/snow/slush covered road the longer wheelbase the better you usually did, the shorter the hairier it got (like the time I rolled my 78 Bronc coming out the end of the pit sideway's)
300'-400' IIRC... stock trucks with mud terrains usually ran around 8-9secs, mod SB 7-8, mod BB 6-7 and open class-non buggy had a handful of us that would run in the 4's
