Hi folks, I'm preparing for an 8000km trip later this week and all I have left to do is flush my coolant. So before you exit because of another lazy do-it-yourselfer, I know how to do a complete flush. I've got lots of distilled water, 3 gallons of CAT concentrate coolant and 2 bottles of VC-9. I'm just weary of doing this because I'm terrified of plugging up my coolers. I've heard if I back flush them after before doing the distilled flush and replacing coolant, it will push the crud that's stuck in them back down and out. Just wondering, if I do it with a garden hose, will it be effective? Also, I saw "powerstrokehelp" on youtube doing it on the oil cooler with a garden hose, does this work? What do I need to do it and how? Thank you very much for any input you give me. And please don't be angry, I've searched the forum and haven't really found a whole lot on this so I have TRIED to do my research. Cheers
